Install SIY in one line
On a Mac, Linux or a Raspberry Pi, in a terminal:
$ curl -fsSL siy.sh | shOn Windows, in PowerShell:
$ irm siy.sh/win | iexNot released yet. Until the first signed release, the installer checks everything it can, then stops before it changes anything.
What it does
The same calm output on every platform: one line per step, the signature always checked before anything runs, and errors that say what happened and the next command to try.
Finds out what this computer is
macOS, Linux or Windows, on Apple silicon, Intel or Arm, Raspberry Pi included.
Checks the signature before anything runs
The release’s checksums must be signed by the SIYNET release key, and the download must match them. If either doesn’t, it stops and nothing on your computer changes.
Puts siy and siyd in a folder you own
No sudo and no admin prompt. siyd, the kernel, starts when you sign in.
Shows you how to join
On a device you already have, open Add a device, then type its code here with siy join. Or start a new SIYNET on this one.
Before you run it
It’s one file. Read it first: install.sh for Mac, Linux and Raspberry Pi, and install.ps1 for Windows. Options go after sh -s --:
$ curl -fsSL siy.sh | sh -s -- --dry-run
